Who's behind this reefer madness?
Are the shirts quality? Yes 100%. They aren't cheap transfers or prints that crack and fade. They won't go to hell after a couple washes. The designs are printed using a process called plot printing. The process cuts the image out of highly durable colored flock fabrics, applied directly to the garment. This gives the design a smooth & velvet texture, while still remaining comfortable and withstanding wear. We also use heavyweight fabric were possible.
Who / what is Sticky Threads? Sticky Threads is an online clothing brand & retailer of Cannabis related clothing. The web site, designs, and concept are the work of me, Alex Mingoia. I'm a designer, web developer, and proud pothead... among other things.
Why are you doing this? Cannabis is underrepresented culturally. I'm promoting a world of Cannabis awareness & commercial interest. I want people to come out about their use of the herb. Hiding it & denying it contributes to an atmosphere of denial & ignorance. I also desired a way to raise money for Cannabis legalization & research.
Where does the money go? I make a comission off the sale of the garments, and a portion of the proceeds go to legalization & research causes, the rest pretty much goes back into Sticky Threads to support hosting, more designs, and more advertising.
Why not StickyThreads.com? Because buydomains.com purchased the domain for less than $10 dollars with the intent on doing nothing with it but selling it for a higher price. Buydomains.com wants $1888.00 dollars last time I checked with them. Unfortunately, I don't have the money to purchase www.stickythreads.com from them.
